Clarification Text on the Processing of Personal Data
As Lean Academy (Lean Agency) (“Company” or “Platform”), the security and privacy of your personal data are extremely important to us. In this context, as the Data Controller in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK” / GDPR), we would like to inform you about the processing purposes, legal grounds, collection methods, and your rights regarding your personal data.
1. Your Processed Personal Data
The following personal data of yours are processed during your registration to our platform and while benefiting from our services:
- Identity Data: Your name, surname.
- Contact Data: Your e-mail address.
- Transaction Security and Usage Data: Your IP address, your movements on the platform, training watch times, exam results, and password information (kept encrypted).
- Financial Data: Invoice and order information regarding your purchasing transactions (Your credit card information is not kept in our system; it is transferred to the authorized payment institution).
2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed for the purposes of registering your membership to the platform, managing your training processes, creating and verifying your certificates, performing your purchasing transactions, providing technical support, and sending e-mails containing campaigns/promotions if you give your explicit consent.
3. Transfer of Personal Data
Your collected personal data may be transferred to authorized public institutions to fulfill our legal obligations, to payment infrastructure providers to carry out payment transactions, and to our business partners providing secure e-mail/server services to manage e-mail sending processes in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK (GDPR).
4. Method and Legal Reason for Data Collection
Your personal data is collected by completely automatic methods via the forms you fill out on our website. The legal reasons for processing are; "Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract", "Being mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation" and "Having your Explicit Consent" for sending e-newsletters.
5. Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK (GDPR)
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK; you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed or not, to request information if it has been processed, to learn whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, to know the 3rd parties to whom it is transferred domestically/abroad, to request correction if it is processed incompletely/incorrectly, and to request deletion/destruction within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the law.
